I noticed a few hours ago my players were done training earlier, it said it was 4 hour training event, so I trained my players again thinking they'd be done training in 4 hours, before the next round, but now all of a sudden this event is gone and it went back to 8 hour training so now I have no choice left but to spend boss coins to finish them before next round..... What is this?

Unfortunately, there has been made a mistake with the notification of this event. This mistake was eventually corrected For those who have set training during the period of this wrong message, the timers has been reduced from 8 hours to 4 hours. So if you go to the training page you will notice that training has finished and you can put them in your squad.

@fc-eddie_nl That isn't correct. I noticed training was still in 8 hours this morning. My players finished training a few minutes ago, I started a new training session and it will last 8h again (on both accounts). There is still a bug, at least for a few managers (or even all of them from a particular region).

There is no bug. It was just a wrong message for the event. The actual event is that your players get extra progress on their training. The wrong message was corrected around one and half hours after the event started, so only managers who set their training in that one and a half hour period got the timer reduced from 8 hours to 4 hours.
